  We are quickly approaching our annual Kingfish Tournament at the end of May.  This event helps to provide all of the funds to support our annual scholarship program.  With that in mind we have secured an opportunity at Publix, off the island, on May 10^th and May 17^th.

  We need a few volunteers to help us sell as many of our tournament raffle tickets as they can.  We will have three short shifts of two people each on both days.  There will be a table and marketing materials to help those that volunteer.  Just bring your own chair and a friendly smile.

  We are quickly approaching our annual Kingfish Tournament at the end of May.  This year this event will provide all of the funds to support our annual scholarship program.  We have put together a signup with specific areas of donors in them.  Nineteen groups in all.  We need a few volunteers to help us call on these people.  Think about it.  You will have the opportunity to generate significant revenue in a simple way for the cause.  There will be marketing materials if you request them.  We sincerely hope that you can help us.

          NASSAU SPORT FISHING ASSOCIATION    

  The 3rd Annual Fishbites Seminar and Surf Fishing Outing

  Come join us for the 3rd annual Fishbites Fall Beach Outing at American Beach, Saturday September 21st starting at 9:30 AM and ending at 3:00 PM.

  We will have a tent set up on the South End of American Beach, East of the pavilion.  Joining us will be Fishbites Surf Fishing Pro Brett Burford, Barry Croneberger of BS Fishing Charters and DS Custom Tackle, the Sinker Guy Chip Brundage and Bryan Curlett with Surf Fishing Solutions.  Bryan makes the best surf fishing carts in the business. We will start off at 9:30 AM with a short seminar and then dive right in to the fishing competition. 

  A $10 cash entry fee will be collected from each member or guest that wants to enter. You may use the bait of your choice, but..... If you catch the winning fish on fish bites only, and win the top prize, Fishbites will sweeten the pot with a mystery award.  A Florida fishing license is required.

  During the competition the pros will be available for tips and advice to help you catch the winning fish. There will also be a selection of fishing carts, spikes, rigs, and other fishing gear available for purchase.

  A hot dog lunch will be provided by the Nassau Sport Fishing Association.
