Monthly Social Gathering

■ Tuesday, April 22
■ 6:15 PM

Join us for a fun and relaxed evening with fellow fishing enthusiasts! Whether you're a seasoned angler or just enjoy the water, all are welcome.

■ The Club Will Provide: Delicious Homemade Gumbo

■ Please Bring a Side Dish to Share Suggested Side Items:

1 Cornbread or hush puppies
2 Coleslaw or potato salad
3 Rice or Cajun-style pasta salad
4 Grilled or roasted vegetables
5 Deviled eggs
6 French bread or garlic bread
7 Desserts like bread pudding, cookies, or pie

Our speaker at 6:15 pm will be Lynda Bell, Executive Director of Keep Nassau Beautiful. It’s “Earth Day” so she will have an interesting presentation for us.

A 10' Over the Bar Surf Rod from Florida Surf Tackle($180) is being offered by Sean Person as the prize for the largest Club Pompano caught on April 25th, (for any member whose last name is not Person), as long as we get 20 members registered for the tournament. Just to be clear this means actually registering with them not just the club link. Sean will be glad to tell you how is you have any trouple getting registered on their site.

Come join us for this special outing at American Beach, Saturday April 25th starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 1:30 PM. All wheel or 4 wheel drive and proof of Nassau residence required for beach access. Additional parking available at Burney Park.

Members can enter the tournament if they want to but certainly can just come fish with us. Specifics on the tournament can be found at Click Here. Chip(the sinker Guy) Brundage reports they'll have a nice little post weigh in gathering to celebrate the tournament so members may want to head down to the weigh in even if they don't compete.

Monthly NSFA Business Meeting

Please come and find out what's going on and learn how to participate in the club. There are always new topics that come up and discussions that are lively and even sometimes interesting!

There are plenty of seats available and the meetings generally last about an hour. It is a very casual setting with some arranged tables and folding chairs. People start to arrive between 6:45 PM and 7:00 PM.
