• 2023 Boat Outing #1

  BOAT OUTING -  Saturday June 10   Inshore and Offshore options TBD

  Please consider this a request-Calling All Fishing Boat Owners.  If you would like to host a couple of members for a day of fishing on your boat, please let me know by reply email that you would be interested and available. This will also be a tournament day with prizes awarded for inshore and offshore species.  We realize there are details to be worked out on this one, but the primary goal right now is to determine how many boats we can count on and what waters you would be fishing.  We will then have a plan to pair anglers with boat owners for a day of fishing our local waters. Anglers will be asked to share expenses for the boat outings and we hope this will give people without boats an opportunity to fish from a members' boat and have a fun day out fishing.

• 40th Annual Fernandina Beach Fishing Rodeo

  The 40^th Fernandina Beach Fishing Rodeo presented by the Nassau Sport Fishing Association will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Fernandina Harbor Marina.  It is sanctioned by the Southern Kingfish Association as part of their 2023 Tournament Trail national championship series.  There is a Kingfish Division and an In/Off Shore Division for 8 different species.  Every entrant can fish one or both divisions.  Check the rules and schedule out at : FBFR Rules
  

  Truly something for every angler to shoot for will be on the bill this year.  All entry fees are considered as donations to the NSFA.

  Online tournament registrations are encouraged but checks will be accepted.   We will need 5 days to process a check if it is mailed in so send them early to receive your early registration fee rate. Live registration will be available on Friday evening August 11, 2023 from 3pm - 8pm. There will be a mandatory captains meeting Friday at 7PM. Our weigh-in of all the fish caught happens from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM Saturday afternoon August 12, 2023. 

  Awards presentations will be Saturday evening at 7PM and we will post results on line and mail winning checks to the captains not present.

  Please note that should weather conditions force a postponement, Sunday, August 13, 2023 is our rain date.
