Please plan to come to another great monthly NSFA social get together. This month, Brooke will be taking some time off. So we are going to do things a little different. We will be having an old fashioned Potluck Dinner. That might be "hotdish" for some of you ;)
To spread things out, you will be asked to bring a main or a side/dessert based on the first letter of your last name.
A - M: Please bring a main dish. (Meatloaf, Lasagna, Fried Chicken, etc)
N - Z: bring a side or desert
As always everyone should bring their own beverage of choice.
This is an experiment. Let's see how it goes.
Please come join us.
There will be a New Members table and an ambassador to make you and yours welcome if you are newcomers to the group.
Remember
- Bring your own PPE including but not limited to masks, gloves, and sanitizer.
- Bring your own condiments and garnishes.
- Attendees are responsible for removing their food items and disposing trash in supplied trash cans that are to remain at least 6 feet away from any table.
We could use some volunteers to make this event successful:
5:30 - 6 people to set up tables in chairs at the KTA Hall.
8:30 - Trash haul and packing.
We also have 2 speakers scheduled. The first at 6PM will be from the Amelia Island Sailing Club and the work they do on behalf of RiverKeepers taking monthly water samples. This is an opportunity for NSFA members to assist with sampling our waterways.
The second speaker will be Danny Patrick from Coastal Angler Magazine. Danny will begin at 6:30PM to bring us up to date on several actions that could negatively impact our fishing grounds. He will also have some ideas on how we can make our voices heard to defeat these regulations.
If you have any other questions about these events or what to bring please ask us with a note sent to : Questions.
