How To Get Ready for Back Water
(Or Learn a Few Rigs & Tricks!)
This member clinic will be held rain or shine. We are going to meet indoors at the KAC Banquet Hall which is the first building on the right as you enter the KAC complex. Here are the directions:
Google Maps
.
We will start at 2:00 PM and if you will please register we can get a count and plan on some water and soda for attendees. You do not need to bring any chairs, etc..
We will have equipment ranging from rods, reels and rigs to show and tell about. We will also talk tactics, tides and some local general locations to try your luck. There will be at least two of us there to try to answer any questions you may have on the subject.
Our main member helper will be Captain Jeff Crumpton who is the owner of Amelia Island Charter Fishing LLC.. Captain Jeff has been a fishing guide since 1992. He started guiding on the Elk river located at Snowshoe WV and for the Homestead Resort located in Hot Springs VA.. Since 2002 he has been guiding in the Everglades National Park and here on Amelia Island Florida. Jeff also won the Redfish category in our 2014 Fernandina Beach Fishing Rodeo tournament on August 2, 2014.
Back Water tackle and techniques work just fine for fishing from docks, banks or boats.
With Captain Jeff leading the discussion we know you can get any question you might have answered. Please join us and bring a friend if you'd like.
For questions or any additional information please contact Cathy Mulcahy at 904-583-2138 or by email at
